I committed a writing sin. Instead of writing on my draft (currently at 83,448 words), I wrote a scene sketch from a future book in the series.
I know, I’m sorry. But the scene came to me and if I don’t write it down I’ll forget it.
It’s tough enough to find an hour or two to write after a full day’s work. And I used the time on something from book, um, 4? or maybe 5. We’ll see. I’m still working on titles and concepts for the series that far out.
Anyway, no word count update or context-free excerpt today.

I’m writing this while I wait for the Scribus file to load so I can export the Thailand page. The file’s only 6MB, but it refers to, based on the PDF output, 600+MB of graphics, text, etc. Seriously, it’s a doorstopper. Here’s the Thailand page:
